6 weeks!

I decided to blog each week of my pregnancy and show everyone the progress! Right now I am 6 weeks pregnant!I know that I shouldn't be showing yet but thats a food belly right now! I have chowed down on chips and salsa all day along with leftover steak, tortillas, and a yumy dinner! Luke just looks at me and laughs every time he see's me stuffing my face!

Baby time!!!

Luke and I are having a baby!! We are so over joyed and so excited!!! At first I didn't believe it because we have been wanting this for so long!! Now that i'm pregnant words can't describe how excited we are!! I go to the doctor April 21st so I will pose more details when I find out!

My poor truck!

This is what hitting 2 elk will do to your truck! Makes me so sad to look at the pictures. I loved that truck but I am very grateful that no one was hurt. I was picking Maizy up from Tumbling and we were driving home and I hear Maizy yell watch out theres elk and as soon as she said that I smacked them. I had no idea what to do so I just started freaking out and thankfully people stopped to help us and we knew them which was even better. I couldn't tell them thank- you enough for helping me. Thankfully me Maizy and my dog Bart are ok!

Over the weekend we took our Christmas pictures! There were a lot but I only picked a few to post! It was a lot of fun! We can't wait to send out our Christmas cards! Trying to get the dogs in the picture but they were being stubborn!

Hunting season is here!!

So, hunting season is officially here! SO every weekend we spend it out in the woods. This is what Luke lives for. At first I hated hunting. I hated all the hiking, and being freezing all the time I am actually starting to enjoy going with him and all of his buddies. Every hunt we go on is an awesome experience and its fun to see the guys get so excited when they kill. We always have fun stories to tell. In the end it is all worth it! Bear Hunting

While us girls were at Yoga Luke and Levi decided to go out for awhile glassing. They saw a big bear track and Lukes exact words were ,"How crazy would it be to see that bear the first day out hunting and we shoot him?" They were glassing up on a hill and spotted a bear. They waited for it to come out of the bushes. The bear finally came out from the bushes and Luke shot him and he rolled down the hill so they went to go trail him and Luke was surprised to see it 5 yards in front of him and shot him again because he was coming towards him. So to make a long story short we didn't get home until about 1 in the morning from packing out the bear.
