My poor truck!

This is what hitting 2 elk will do to your truck! Makes me so sad to look at the pictures. I loved that truck but I am very grateful that no one was hurt. I was picking Maizy up from Tumbling and we were driving home and I hear Maizy yell watch out theres elk and as soon as she said that I smacked them. I had no idea what to do so I just started freaking out and thankfully people stopped to help us and we knew them which was even better. I couldn't tell them thank- you enough for helping me. Thankfully me Maizy and my dog Bart are ok!

Hunting season is here!!

So, hunting season is officially here! SO every weekend we spend it out in the woods. This is what Luke lives for. At first I hated hunting. I hated all the hiking, and being freezing all the time I am actually starting to enjoy going with him and all of his buddies. Every hunt we go on is an awesome experience and its fun to see the guys get so excited when they kill. We always have fun stories to tell. In the end it is all worth it! Bear Hunting

While us girls were at Yoga Luke and Levi decided to go out for awhile glassing. They saw a big bear track and Lukes exact words were ,"How crazy would it be to see that bear the first day out hunting and we shoot him?" They were glassing up on a hill and spotted a bear. They waited for it to come out of the bushes. The bear finally came out from the bushes and Luke shot him and he rolled down the hill so they went to go trail him and Luke was surprised to see it 5 yards in front of him and shot him again because he was coming towards him. So to make a long story short we didn't get home until about 1 in the morning from packing out the bear.

Williams Shenannigans!

CeCe and her girls came over for the weekend to visit from Singapore and we had a blast seeing them and hanging out! On Saturday we went to Flagstaff to do a little shopping then headed to Williams to watch the rodeo but we only caught the last 5 minutes of it!! Then we went to a BBQ with some friends that we have not seen in quite some time! It was really fun hanging out with everyone and catching up!! We had an awesome weekend!!

Craft adventure!!!

My BFFA'S (Best friend from Alabama) birthday was this weekend. We are headed to the lake tomorrow so I thought I should give her her presents today. I spent all evening working on this masterpiece of a cake! She loves to fish so this was the best cake for her. My mom and sister helped me with this adventure. I also made her a really cool shirt too!!! I went to her house earlier to surprise her and she absolutly LOVED the cake!! Here are some pics.......... This was the cool cake I made for Caroline.... I just went on the internet and googled images I liked printed them out then cut them out and arranged them how I liked it on the shirt....All you need is bleach and vinegar!! These shirts are so fun to make! This was the back of the shirt.....

This was the front of the shirt. The chinese symbol means friendship. I love doves so I had to put a dove on the front and back of the shirt.

4th Of July Festivities!

We had a really fun 4th Of July!! Christen and Aaron came up and we had a bonfire Friday night and roasted marshmellows and had s'mores. It was a really good time. On Saturday we had a BBQ and then just hung out and lit firecrackers. We didn't want to go to the park though to watch the fireworks because it was a zoo there!! So, instead we went to Dairy Queen and watched the fireworks there. It was still a lot of fun!! Maizys 4th Of July Cheescake!
